    Organization Facts

A values-based Fraternity, Delta Tau Delta was founded in 1858 in Bethany, Virginia. With more than 115 chapters across the United States and an average chapter size of 55 men, Delt is "Committed to Lives of Excellence." Truth, Courage, Faith, and Power are its foundation while it actively embraces integrity, accountability, community service and brotherhood in its values. With more than 150,000 initiates in its 150 years of existence, the Fraternity offers its members unique opportunities to lead the Vermont community. Adopt-A-School, the Fraternity's national service initiative, records nearly 100,000 hours of service by Delts each year. An academic leader in the fraternity world, Delt places the highest priority on academics before all else. Delta Tau Delta is excited to join the UVM Greek Community starting in Fall 2008. Do you have what it takes to be a Founding Father?”
