The Fraternal Awards of Excellence is handed out during an end-of-the-year awards ceremony for the Greek Community. The award provides recognition for chapters excelling in the strategic areas of the Greek Community. Fraternities and Sororities that submit their application are placed in four seperate categories. Chapters that do not meet at least 75% of the requirements are given a Certificate of Merit. The Cardinal Circle Award is given to chapters meeting between 75-85% of the requirements. The Gold Circle Award is given to chapters meeting between 85-95% of the requirements. The top award is called the President's Award for Fraternal Excellence and is given to chapters that meet or exceed 95% of the requirements.
